MISSION STATEMENT

The Philippine Student Association (PhilSA) of Texas A&M University has the primary goal as a cultural student organization to promote unity and brotherhood among Filipino students at Texas A&M University, to enhance awareness of the Filipino culture in the university, to foster goodwill and to develop a working relationship with the students of Texas A&M University, and to achieve academic excellence in our fields and endeavors.

WHAT WE DO

PhilSA has grown to be a very active non-profit cultural organization in the Texas A&M campus as a recognized Student Organization. PhilSA promotes its mission statement with cultural performances and demonstrations. Through our strong membership and support from former members, PhilSA has enhanced the A&M community and continues to do so.

In each academic year, two main events held by PhilSA each semester, helps fulfill our mission statement throughout the A&M community. In October, Isang Mahal: The One Love Talent Show celebrates Filipino American History Month. The GoodPhil Games, held in spring, extends our mission statement beyond Texas A&M and spreads throughout Texas
